Rushden R.A.F. Sergeant Missing
News that her husband, Sergeant Observer Harold A. Cheasman, is missing as a result of air operations has reached his wife, who resides at 14, Upper Queen-street, Rushden. Sergeant Cheasman, whose parents reside at 29, Westfields, Higham Ferrers, is 29 years of age and has one child. He joined the R.A.F. in June 1941, having been employed in the offices of Weetabix Ltd., Burton Latimer.
Born at Bedford, Sergeant Cheasman was educated at Higham Ferrers Council School and Wellingborough Grammar School. He was a member of the Rushden Squadron, A.T.C. prior to joining up, and of the Park-road Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher.
