Mr. A. E. Coker, of Rushden

The death, on Thursday of Mr. Austin Edward Coker, of 9, Oakley-road, Rushden, followed an illness of about six years. Mr. Coker was aged 70 years.

A native of Islington, Mr. Coker lived at Irchester before he came to Rushden, about 28 years ago. While at Irchester he was a member of the St. John Ambulance Brigade there, and he served in the R.N.S.B.R. during the last war.

Mr. Coker was a member of the Rushden Windmill Club.

He leaves a widow, Mrs. Amy Rosalie Coker and there are six sons and two daughters. The funeral is to take place to-morrow.
