At the morning and evening services at the High-street Independent Wesleyan Church on Sunday, the Rev T S Kee made reference to the passing of Mr Oliver Claridge who was a life-long member of the church. Mr Kee said the Mr Claridge always displayed a keen interest in the church’s work and was a most generous supporter. The handsome pulpit in the church was a fitting memorial to him and to the family. |
