Buses Took Query Club to Party
Rushden Query Motor Club hard hit by the basic petrol cut, can still keep cheerful
Buses took members and their children to the ''Rose and Crown" Inn, Denford, for a New Year's party on Sunday. There were about 90 present, and the children all received gifts from the hands of the secretary, Miss Dinah Mepham.
They also got an orange and a sixpence each from the president. Mr. R. W. E. Paragreen. The evening was spent with games and dances, the M.Cs. being Mr. Raymond Allen and Mr. Don Norris. Mr. Paragreen also paid the cost of the buses.
