| Above is reproduction of the plan prepared by Mr F E Preston, Rushden, for the proposed headquarters of the Rushden Branch of the British Legion. As already announced in the “Echo and Argus” some time ago, a plot of land has been purchased in Carnegie street, and has been cleared ready for building. Some idea of the size of the building, if the above plans are proceeded with, may be judged from the fact that the main assembly hall will be 84 feet long and 40 feet wide. |
