Rushden & District History Society

To publicise our society and some of its activities we have arranged 'Discovery Days' and
attended various functions both in Rushden and around the county.
Here are a few pictures from some of these events.

Eric Parker, our member from New Zealand made a visit to our June 2006 meeting on his visit to England.


When the Research Group started their project to transcribe wills, Eric offered his help and worked from a photograph of the will sent to him by email.

These photographs were taken at Cogenhoe village. The theme was 1940s.

Our Society took several display boards.

Below you can see that some members went in period dress.
