The semi-finals and final of the Rushden Bowling Club handicap were played on the Rushden green on Thursday afternoon.
The semi-finalists were Messrs. A. Cox and W. S. Knight and Messrs. H. W. Rands and T. Wilmott. The results were as follow:-
A. Cox 21, W. S. Knight 14.
H. W. Rands 21, T. Wilmott 17.
The final was then played off between Mr. Cox and Mr. Rands, and a most exciting game was seen, which was watched with interest by a large gathering of members. Eventually Mr. Rands son by one point, viz:-
H. W. Rands 21, A. Cox 20.
