The Development of Rushden—The town of Rushden is still growing at a rapid rate, and we notice that only eight plots remain unsold on the Wellingboro'-road frontage to the Victoria estate, while over thirty plots have been sold on the Knuston-road. We learn, further, that Gordon-street and Graveley-street will be made at once. It will be remembered that Mr. Bletsoe offered this land by auction only a few weeks ago, and all has been sold except Plot 1, a clear testimony to the town has not ceased its remarkable development. Speaking at a bazaar opening at the Public-hall, Rushden, this week, two leading inhabitants of Wellingborough referred to the growth of Rushden, and one of these gentlemen described its increase as "the wonder of the Midlands."

About £20,000 worth of building is going on in Rushden at the present time in the erection and extension of factories and the putting up of the new Baptist chapel. The prospect fort Rushden is as rosy as ever.
