The Welcome Inn was built in the 1970’s on the Melloway Road estate. It stands on the corner of Irchester Road, on land that was once the Mission Field, where the Mission Church held sports events. The inn has a small garden with climing frame for children to use. It was closed briefly in 2009 and after refurbishment was re-opened. Note the water tower in the distance (left), now adorned with mobile phone masts.
