Inside the works - from a postcard

This company began around 1914 in Griffith Street, and was owned
by Mr. Fred Hawkes’ brother and Mr. Bob Camel. They moved after WWI
to High Street South, where they remained until at least 1940. When they vacated
these premises and the work was carried on by Mr. Corby in Mr. Lockie's workshop.
