Invoice dated May 1939 for repairs to an ambulance
for Mr B Nicholls of Finedon

This company began around 1914 in Griffith Street, and was owned
by Mr. Fred Hawkes’ brother and Mr. Bob Camel. They moved after WWI
to High Street South, where they remained until at least 1940. When they vacated
those premises, the work was carried on by Mr. Corby in Mr. Lockie's workshop.
