Quennell's Fish & Chip Shop

This rather poor photograph is of the chip shop at 44 Cromwell Road, where
children would buy a pennyworth of chips with a few "batter bits" sprinkled on top!

The business was started in 1922 by Mr Harry Burfield.
Mr Quennell was there after WWII.
