The invoice left, shows that the company established a larger business in Kettering, Rushden being a depot.

Henry Peter Hodge was an electrical engineer trading at 24 High Street in 1914. In 1918 he took over the ironmongery business of George Miller at 14 High Street and gradually he increased his range of wares until he eventually supplied all manner of builders' tools, plumbing supplies, paints and equipment. He expanded the property in 1926 by building a large warehouse behind the shop, and that stretched back to Rectory Road. A larger business was established in Kettering.
