Rushden Local Intelligence
Appropriation — At an appropriation of the Mutual Model Building Society on Tuesday last, £100 was bought by Mr. John Litchfield for the sum of £60.
The Crown Bank — The petition to wind up the Crown Bank came on for hearing on Saturday last before Mr. Justice North. Mr. Higgins, Q.C., appeared for the petitioner, and Mr. Bramwell Davis for other shareholders supporting the petition. On the application of the Bank it was directed to stand over till April 19th, to enable the directors to file and complete their evidence.
