Bozeat Manor Court Rolls

In an effort to prove ancestors in the village in the 1600s I came across these
documents, and I also read the wills of all Bozeat testators. I proved only one
line with any certainty, but hope this might be more fruitful for others!

N.R.O.Ref: QCR 185-189 - With the aid of dictionaries, Latin word lists & a Latin Primer, I attempted to transcribe & then translate and index these documents, without any previous knowledge of Latin. Most of the documents are in good condition. I hope if I did not get all the words correct that the gist has not been changed by my translation. I acknowledge here the help willing given by Jackie Minchinton of the Record Office, with the most difficult passages. As with all transcripts it is always advisable to check back with the original.
